Nostra work, presented under the evocative title “Close Your Eyes,” is structured around an exploration of the themes of introspection and inspiration. Through a series of female portraits, the artist invites the viewer to engage in a deep reflection on the very essence of the human experience, while questioning the dynamics of gaze and perception.

The female figures, often depicted with closed eyes, are much more than simple representations. They embody an existential quest, a dive into the meanders of the psyche, where the silence of closed eyelids evokes both vulnerability and inner power. Nostra succeeds in transcending the simple portrait to create entities that seem to vibrate with emotional and intellectual depth. These works, at the crossroads between abstraction and figuration, suggest a tension between the visible and the invisible, between exteriority and interiority.

Closing the eyes, a symbol of introspection, becomes an act of resistance to a world that is often too noisy and intrusive. By inviting us to “close our eyes,” Nostra encourages us to free ourselves from the constraints of our daily lives to embrace a more subtle dimension of consciousness. This contemplative gesture allows us to reexamine our own life trajectories, our aspirations, and our unfulfilled desires.

Through a virtuoso use of color and texture, the artist manages to capture the fleeting essence of human emotions, transforming each painting into a space for meditation. “Close Your Eyes” is thus presented not only as an exhibition, but as a philosophical experience, a call to reflect on the relationship between the individual and his or her environment, on art as a mirror of the soul, and on the beauty inherent in introspection.
